Do the Scout Programs of Adventure Scouts USA meaningfully involve the participation of those who face challenges in their life? Print
We respect that there are differences between individuals, and every effort is made to encourage each person to realize their full potential.  Therefore, extra resources or equipment are sought for persons requiring them for their participation.

Every Child, Every Family, Everywhere guides the inclusive, non-discriminatory nature of the Scout Programs of Adventure Scouts USA.

Every activity and element of the Scout Programs of Adventure Scouts USA are guided by the spirit of inclusion, and not merely the strict application of policies and practices.

Everyone in our Scout Programs receives equal treatment.  There are no exceptions.  It is the behavior of an individual that is evaluated, rather than their identity.  The significant standard for determining whether a Scout or Member can not participate in a particular team is whether the team cannot function because of that individual’s participation.

Equal opportunity and equal participation are an important part of the Scout Spirit, Scout Promise and Scout Code of the Scout Programs of Adventure Scouts USA.  In effort to bridge all communities, we actively encourage the inclusion of all.

Our Scout Programs believe it is important each person is viewed as an individual, and that they are regarded equally, whatever their differences.
