Included in the team start kit is a team sheet.Â The team sheet has space for the Team Counselorâ€™s name, phone number, and email address, along with a map to the meeting location.Â
It also includes attributes of the team and what kinds of activities the Scouts on that team like to participate in, as well contact information for other teams nearby, and a map to their meeting locations.
The reason for this is because we want our Scouts to have the perfect fit with their team.Â If a Scout who enjoys indoor activities such as video gaming were to join a team of Scouts who spends most of their time hiking and backpacking, that Scout would likely be unhappy.Â Â
As with all information, we are transparent with our team information because it is in service to our members â€“ we want our Scouts to get the most out of their Scout experience.
