Who Can Sponsor a Team Team Sponsors include churches, temples, schools, parent/teacher groups, government at all levels, community and service organizations, businesses of long standing, and a group of parents.  The sponsorship of teams must be consistent with the goals of the Team Sponsor organization and Adventure Scouts USA. The Advantages to Your Organization There are many advantages to sponsoring a team of our Scout Programs. Sponsoring a team enables the Team Sponsor to encourage those in their community to participate in activities which contribute to a positive outlook. Being a Team Sponsor encourages more membership in the sponsoring organization because more people know about it, particularly those with children. Parents and Scouts are entering the building and will undoubtedly get to know some of the members there.
